After acquiring Twitter for $44 Billion dollars Elon Musk is in trend since October 2023. When the deal is finished, Elon Musk is the new CEO of Twitter and it is a private company now. He fired almost 50% employees of the company. But interesting thing is that still Twitter is working properly, there is no issue in the Twitter system working.
He is doing some improvements in the Twitter system like speed, cleaning bot accounts, policy, and all.
Let's put all those things aside and focus on why he bought Twitter.
He is the richest person in the world currently so obviously this is not a reason to buy Twitter. So what, For “freedom of speech” or something else?

1. Public Benefits:
He talks about “freedom of speech" as the main goal to buy Twitter. So that everyone can put their point of view on Twitter without any restriction. As we know Twitter banned some celebrity accounts and trump’s account termination is one of the big examples of this. Yes, Twitter has some policies and has the right to terminate an account but being biased and influencing people based on political pressure is a different thing. So this is the first reason to buy Twitter people can put their views openly, and freely on Twitter. It will work without political pressure and biased advertising.
2. Elon Musk Benefits:
He is running so many companies that are based on the future like Starlink, Neuralink, Tesla, SpaceX, Boring Company, Solar City, OpenAI, etc. He is a very very smart person that’s why he is capable to manage all these companies. So acquiring Twitter is not beneficial for people only, it is also good for him. He has high credibility in the market. So it is very important that he can share his view, and thoughts publicly without any restriction. Based on his credibility and following, a single tweet by Elon Musk can change the share value. And musk’s single tweet can create a big impact on businessmen and industry. If somehow, he is not able to put his view publically, it affects the Musk business also. Yes, in the end, he is a businessman, who wants to earn more money to build some other environment-friendly resource and for personal use also.
